*ARE MARKS A GOOD MEASURE OF YOUR WORTH*
People generally say that we should not judge a book by its cover. So, should the student's academic
intelligence be based on an exam??
We cannot judge someone's personal worth by the marks he or she got in an exam. So should the
student's academic intelligence be based on an exam?
No doubt marks reflect the hard work the student put in the exam. It would be easier for an intelligent person to secure good marks while for a person of mediocre intelligence it would not be that easy.
It is of the way that watching a short person and tall person walking together. The tall person will cover more distance with a lesser number of steps as compared to the short person.
The short person can come up with a tall person but he has to take more number of steps or he has to
put more effort to acquire the same pace like that of a tall person.
There are n number of famous personalities like our Indian mathematician, Ramanujan, and Albert
Einstein whose intelligence level can't be judged by the marks they got during schooling.
Even Thomas Edison has written in his diary-" According to his school teachers I was a mentally
weak child but my mother turned me into the Genius of the Century"
No doubt in our Indian educational system grades matter. Our system judges the student by the marks
he or she got in the exam. But that's not 100% fair. There are some students who despite having
the knowledge are not able to score good grades due to exam fear.
While there are some "legends" who are able to score fair marks by the one-night study (most
famous dialogue u might have heard in the college).
Of course that one-night study will not help him in life. But our society will judge him by seeing his
report card...
I remember Einstein during his schooling said "Education is not mugging up the dates of various
wars. One can refer a book for it. Rather one must be curious about the causes of the wars".
So, at last, I want to say that --
"If you aren't able to score well in a particular test then that's not the ending of your life. Treat
that ending to be the ending of your failure".☺☺☺
"YOU HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO DO
THE BEST AND DEFINITELY GOD WILL DO THE REST"......

Everyone must have got this mentality, not the same orthodox thinking they have been having, there shouldn't be any sort of limitations in lives

ReplyDeleteYour point of veiw is correct...but it's not the education system which needs to be changed...it's our own mindset which needs to be upgraded.
I'll give you a situation
You have been provided with 2 dishes...one from road side vendor and other from 5-star restaurant...which will you choose..???
Keep in mind that You don't know the taste of both dishes

It's all about a change we should come up with...let's see what happens in upcoming generation
ReplyDeleteRight.....The conclusion is whether u pass or fail in ur academic exam u always have another opportunity but we should try to pass into the exam of our life bcoz we don't have another chance there .....
